Jeff went hunting with his friends over Thanksgiving weekend (I know...I'm late posting it!) and he had a great time. For the past 3 years, one of his best friends, Clay, has been drawn for hunting elk! I know, he's so lucky!! The past couple of years they have shot one on the first day but this year Clay wanted to wait for a bigger elk and he got it! I have to warn you first about the pictures though before you scroll down...if you have a queasy stomach then you might not want to look!!! (I didn't put the really scary pictures on though...even I was like "ewww" looking at them)

That is a big elk! Of course, I'm not a hunter... How fun for Jeff to get to go! Are you going to try some elk steak? =)

What big antlers that elk had! I know my sister, Lynda, really enjoyed going hunting with her family for many years, even getting her very own elk! I hope you'll continue to go. What beautiful country!
